Six White House staffers were dismissed Thursday morning after failing FBI background checks. The staffers were escorted from the White house Wednesday after not passing the SF86, a Questionnaire for National Security Positions for security clearance. The SF86 includes questions on the applicant’s credit score, family history, substance use, medical records, employment history, and other personal subjects, Western Journalism reports.
Among those who won’t be working at the White House is the director of scheduling and the daughter of President Trump’s Florida campaign manager, Caroline Wiles. She was appointed deputy assistant secretary before the inauguration on January 20 and she will get a job at the Treasury Department instead.
President Trump’s critics did not waste time to bash him via Twitter.
Lmao the White House staff can’t even pass an FBI background check, but thinks it should be responsible for vetting immigrants.

According to ClearanceJobs.com, the SF86 background investigation is for anyone applying for “security clearances and high-risk public trust positions.” The information provided by the applicant are investigated by The Office of Personnel Management.
Before President Trump was sworn, the White House Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus stated that there was no reason to complete background checks on the then-president elect’s cabinet appointments. When he was asked by Chris Wallace on Fox News if the Trump administration would consider delaying the confirmation hearings until the background checks were complete, he instantly replied negatively. Priebus also said that Trump Administration will have to move faster because they have all the information and are the people that have been highly successful in their lives.
