President Trump extensively aired his outrage with the media especially with CNN during his free-flowing press conference and he also praised the accomplishments of his administration’s first few weeks.
Wallace told Fox News host Bill O’Reilly that there were some moments that did make him uncomfortable but Trump was not unhinged and that was only his determined effort to seize the narrative. He also said that President Trump was not speaking to the media, but to the people.
The Fox News reporter stated that he thinks that President Trump was in control and seized control of the narrative by saying that his administration is running like a fine-tuned machine.
He also said that what Donald Trump does will far outweigh what he says and in the end, there will be results. Wallace added that if Trump improves the economy, gets tax reform through, gets Obamacare repealed and an effective replacement through, then the media’s reaction to his comments will not matter.
Wallace concluded that if the President doesn’t get that stuff through and people’s lives don’t change, not even all the positive press in the world is going to matter.
